July 8, 2024, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Aljomaih Automotive, the official dealer of "GAC Motor" brand in Saudi Arabia, announced the launch of the new M8 multi-purpose family vehicle (MPV) at an event held at the Aljomaih GAC Motor showroom in Riyadh. The event was attended by company and media representatives, and automotive content creators, who had the opportunity to closely inspect the vehicle and explore its features. The M8 is designed to meet the needs of drivers seeking a luxurious, spacious, and technologically advanced driving experience.
The M8 boasts an elegant exterior design with vibrant finishes and LED lighting, giving it a striking appearance. Its spacious interior is crafted with high-quality materials and features independent climate control between the front and rear rows, along with cooling and heating seats in both rows. Additionally, the customizable ambient lighting in the cabin offers a unique experience for all passengers.
The M8 combines power and efficiency, equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine that produces 252 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. It also features an eight-speed automatic transmission from AISIN, which ensures smooth driving quality and experience. The advanced suspension system provides a comfortable ride, while the improved fuel efficiency of 8.8 liters/100 kilometers makes it a practical choice.
GAC M8 supports an advanced system with high-definition touchscreens compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The vehicle also includes L2-level safety and driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, comprehensive airbags (including curtain airbags for the third-row passengers), a 360-degree surround camera, and automated parking assistance. These features make the M8 one of the safest cars in its class.
