GAC EMPOW 2026: The High-Performance Sports Sedan with a New Engine​

April 27, 2025 – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia- Aljomaih Automotive Company, the official distributor of GAC Motor vehicles in Saudi Arabia, announced the launch of EMPOW 2026: a new trim equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, during an exclusive launch event held at Dirab Park in Riyadh.The launch of the EMPOW Sport trim comes in response to the growing demand in the Saudi market for high-performance sedans and reflects the continued success the model achieved since its initial launch in 2023.

The new EMPOW Sport is packed with exceptional features, including a sleek, sporty design and a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine delivering 265 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission (Aisin 8AT) and features a sports exhaust system. This latest trim also offers excellent fuel efficiency, rated at 18.1 km/L (Excellent+), and it is equipped with advanced systems such as ZF DP-EPS steering system, Bosch ESP10.0 stability control, and Continental high-performance brakes.

EMPOW Sport offers an enhanced entertainment experience with dual 10.25-inch screen, wireless charging, sports exhaust sound effects, 32-color dynamic ambient lighting, and multiple entertainment options. The vehicle also comes with a manufacturer warranty of 6 years or 250,000 kilometers.
